LTFRB Launches Digital Fuel Subsidy via GCash for Transport Drivers
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has launched a digital fuel subsidy distribution program for public transportation drivers through GCash, eliminating the need for physical queues and commutes to claim assistance. This digital disbursement makes government aid more accessible and efficient for thousands of public utility vehicle drivers in Metro Manila, including Quezon City, reducing time and transportation costs spent claiming subsidies. Drivers must have a GCash account to receive the fuel subsidy; the program is administered by LTFRB in coordination with the Department of Transportation and GCash, with no registration fees required.
