A Quezon City resident posted on Reddit asking whether Quezon City Hall is open on Fridays for QCID application, seeking current operating schedule information from the community. This directly affects QC residents who need to visit City Hall for government services like QCID, as knowing accurate operating hours prevents wasted trips and helps plan visits around work schedules. Quezon City Hall typically operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but residents should verify current hours via the official QC website or by calling +63 2 8988 4242 before visiting, as schedules may change for holidays or special arrangements.
Background
The QCID (Quezon City Identification Card) is a free government-issued ID for Quezon City residents that provides access to city services and benefits. City Hall is the primary location for application and renewal, making its operating hours a frequent practical concern for residents.
